Want to check out Q City Singers? Our season runs from September to May which is comprised of two sessions; the first session runs
September to December, and the second session runs January to May.
You can come and join in without paying any fees up until the 2nd rehearsal of a session if you are curious to see what a community choir is all about. If you are interested in joining us anytime after the 2nd rehearsal of the session, please send us an email and let us know!

We practice weekly on Sundays from 6:30 - 8:30 at the Trinity Lutheran Church - 375 Hartley St, Quesnel, BC
Session Fees & Registration
Q City Singers Membership fees are as follows:
Society Membership Fee - $20 (this is a one time, non refundable fee. Only new QCS Members pay this)
Session 1 (Sept - Dec) - $60
Session 2 (Jan - May) - $60
Session fees can be paid all at once, or twice during the year by the 3rd rehearsal of each session.
Music Deposit - $50
Paid at the time of registration, along with your session fees (we are no longer taking post-dated music deposit cheques). If your sheet music and music folder is returned in excellent condition, your music deposit will be refunded to you after the end of our last rehearsal of the season.
Keep in mind that Q City Singers is lending this music out to members, so please see the Member Handbook for details on the condition
we expect you to keep our music.

Volunteer Activities
The Q City Singers is a member-funded society with no paid representatives. Without the support of member volunteers, we cannot run the choir! We will often call on folks to help with concert planning and logistics (we affectionately call this "people with trucks and/or muscles), morale boosting (organizing food/drinks at events, organizing cards and gifts, etc.), and to support fundraising activities. Please consider raising your hand the next time we ask for volunteers - we really need your help!
Board of Directors
Want to represent the members of the Q City Singers, and help to guide our choir? Each member of the board of directors is elected for a two-year term at our General Meeting at the last rehearsal of the season in May. The two-year terms are staggered so that there are
always Board Members who have been part of the previous season's board. This helps ensure a smooth transition from year to year.
