The QDCAC sent us this link to share with our members! It's about the City of Quesnel's new initiative, and recent workshop "Wayfinding and Placemaking" which looks at how signage and planning within the city of Quesnel can promote areas and places for residents and tourists alike. Although not specifically arts, music and culture related, there are places for you to share your opinions in this matter!

https://mailchi.mp/310106151d34/bccf-choral-voices-february-2018?e=7fc0054da3 Looks like we have two new openings for new members! If you've been thinking about becoming a Q City Singers member over the last couple weeks but thought you missed your opportunity, now's your chance!
Stop by our rehearsal tonight at 6:30pm at the Trinity Lutheran Church, to join in our fun (or just check it out in person)! As we are part of the QDCAC, we are often asked to share events that other community groups are holding in Quesnel. There is nothing like the power of word-of-mouth in Quesnel, and we are happy to share this event withour members. This event is sponsored by the Cariboo Ski Touring Club
In case you haven't had the chance to look around, our main Members page has a picture gallery that we are often updating!
Most recently we've uploaded pictures from our caroling events in and around Quesnel over the past couple of weeks. We hope you had a chance to come listen to us in person, but in case you didn't, you can see us here!
If you missed our two events this past weekend, you can join in with us here! Stay tuned to this playlist over the next few days as we'll be adding more videos to help celebrate the Christmas Season!
Q City Singers would also like to give a big thank you to Ted from Bouchie Lake Country Store/Moose Meadows Farm who took the videos of Sunday's performance (and had a very tired arm by the end of it)
This weekend, the Q City Singers are participating in a couple Christmas events in Quesnel! Come on out and support the local businesses and organizations who put these great events on. Bring your whole family! Let us help you get ready for the season by sharing some warm fuzzies and Christmas Cheer!
Don't forget about Barkerville's Victorian Christmas next weekend! If you've never been, this is the year to go because the Q City Singers will there on Sunday.
